In my Typography II class was to create a booklet design for a typeface we enjoy using. I decided to create mine using Futura (which is actually the main typeface in this portfolio!). My goal for this project was to familiarize myself with the nuances of InDesign. I began the process by researching type specimen booklet designs on Pinterest and Behance. I sketched out possible ideas, then brought the work to life on InDesign. Through this project, I have learned to use character and paragraph styles for continuity, as well as the paragraph formatting controls for details in the copy. Additionally, this project taught me to trust the process and feel confident in my work. After many iterations and critique sessions with my peers, I am truly proud of my final product.
