As part of my Media Critics & Influencers course, I’m participating in a 5-week content creation project based on any area of interest. After weeks of research, I decided to create a resource for students like myself, who want to pursue a career in the sports industry after college. I spent the last two months of the semester contacting alumni, conducting interviews, writing blog posts, and sharing them with my network. The blog, Journey to the Big Leagues, is easily my favorite project I’ve done in college.

Project Overview
Once I developed and created the blog’s visual identity, I reached out to 4 Quinnipiac alumni who have communications roles in baseball and held informational interviews with each one. Each week during the project, I’ve published a blog post discussing their journeys from college to the big leagues, recommending actions to take as a young professional, and sharing some advice for students in my shoes.
